Feathers & Fur Aviary & RescueFeathers & Fur Aviary and Rescue was founded in 2009 when I first met Quinn, a severely abused Quaker parakeet. I saw him in the garage of a breeder’s house and could not get his sad face out of my mind. He was the first bird I rescued and the rest is history. In 2012 we upgrade from a small bird room to the open aviary, where abused and neglected birds can fly free without cages and enjoy a stress free life. The birds in my aviary are ones that cannot be adopted due to behaviors or issues due to sever neglect and abuse so they will live out their lives with me, in the aviary, where they can have the space needed to thrive and find happiness.

Litter Robot: You Have Got To Try This!
I want to tell you about one of my favorite things at the rescue! The litter Robot. I have wanted one for a very long time but was afraid to spend the money (you know taking care of rescue animals takes money and you have to spend it wisely). But after several failed attempts to make the litter process easier I decided to take the plunge a few years back, and how could we go wrong when they offer a money back guarantee?
